Mason’s mom emailed me the day after he was born to see if she could book a newborn session. Luckily it was a April, which means I have a bit of wiggle room, and I was able to do Mason’s session within three days from her email. It was the first session that I would be doing in my “designated” studio space in our house (which, by the way, still isn’t completely finished yet–sort of at a standstill because we need to find doors still!).
Mason was a joy, and a little sleeper. He was so much fun to work with because, well, he slept! His mom brought along a little sailor outfit for him, and a sailor dress for her daughter so that she could put a few images up in Mason’s nursery, which is decorated with a nautical theme. I was in luck! My boys’ room also has a nautical theme, so I grab a couple of decorations for their room to use in a few of the image. Nothing too over the top–just a little touch of sea. Welcome to the world, little sailor!
